[A R A B I A N] New PiRep Policy - Date: 03/05/2009

Arabian Airlines Pilots & Staff,

We are writing all to inform pilots of a company policy change that will affect our operations, effective immediately.

The Company has just completed a roster evaluation and has pulled aside the names and ID numbers of pilots that are not in compliance with company PiRep policy. The new policy will be more lenient than the current policy, which requires pilots to file at least two PiReps a month within their CAT Category, but aggressively enforced.

The new policy will read as following:

All Arabian Airlines pilots are required to fulfill the following Flight Requirements:
All Pilots are required to file at least one valid and approved PiRep for one regularly scheduled Arabian Airlines flight within their CAT Rating per month.

Notwithstanding the above, charter PiReps will not count towards the one flight per month minimum for all pilots.
Failure to adhere to the above requirement will result in the following:
Notice of pending review of pilot record.
The pilot will be notified of their noncompliance with the above requirement and be given approximately 4 weeks to comply with company policy. The 4 week requirement will not result in a tacking of required flights (meaning that in those 4 weeks, the pilot must do 1 PiRep, not 2).

Temporary Suspension if noncompliance not cured within specified time.
The pilot will be temporarily suspended for a period of two weeks and notified of such suspension, with an opportunity to cure the noncompliance within one week of the notice of suspension.

Termination of Employment
If the pilot has not either replied and requested leave, or did not reply and comply with the above requests, employment will be terminated without prejudice.

Please note that all emails will be sent to the email pilots registered with. Please login to your accounts to ensure your emails are current. If pilots have trouble logging into their accounts, please contact our webmaster for assistance.
