How to get started
« on: September 03, 2011, 08:18:31 AM »
Okay so i have a couple of inquires.

Im fairly new to VA's, ive looked everywhere and unfortunately i havent come across a detailed guide on how to setup FSX with Arabian, so far ive downloaded and installed FSCopilot and FSInn and now i have no idea what to do next. Could someone please link me to a detailed guide that walks me through the setup and how to begin my first flight?

Secondly, Ive downloaded a CAT A aircraft (A320) from the Arabian website and intalled it however FSX gives me errors telling me that the gauges arnt compatible because they were designed for FS98. Really? Im used to flying in the Virtual Cockpit but this plane has the most hideous 2D cockpit ive ever seen, is there any compatible virtual cockpit for that plane?

I know im a newbie but im really interested in getting up in the air with you guys and really appreciate the support.

Thanks,

Hi Fahad,

The manual or FSINN can be found in the VATSIM forums, here: http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=56205. It contains a detailed guide on how to get started.

As for the A320, the panel that was included was for FS2004 only. To get the aircraft operating, you can copy your Panel for the default FSX A321 into your A320's panel folder. To get the VC working, check this post: http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?199024-How-to-merge-default-A321VC-into-Project-Airbus-A3XX.

It is a detailed, step by step procedure.

Let me know if you need anything else.
